These ground chicken burgers are juicy, moist and seasoned similarly to my middle eastern chicken koftas. A fun way to serve ground chicken that will be family approved and easy to make any night of the week!
In a medium sized bowl, combine the ground chicken, mayonnaise, olive oil, 1 tablespoon ketchup, garlic cloves, yellow onion, parsley, breadcrumbs, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, ground coriander, ground cumin, curry powder, salt, ground black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Divide the mixture into 4. Using wet hands, shape the mixture into burger shaped patties, around 3/4 inch thick depending on preference. Set aside and place on a tray.
In a medium to large sized skillet, heat the neutral oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and fry for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165F using a meat thermometer.
Serve on buns with the toppings and condiments of your choice (we love it with my easy white sauce).
Notes
For smaller portions or for kids, divide the mixture into 6 patties. Cook for 4-5 minutes each side.
Serve with buns and your favourite burger toppings, or enjoy as is!
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge in an air tight container for up to 5 days. Burgers can be frozen for up to 4 months.
